i don’t really have a full written plot for the au, but here’s more or less the general idea:
Basically, the kingdom of Derse and Prospit once lived unified, sharing the large territory of Skaia peacefully. The ruler of each Kingdom had a duty. Every day, the prospitian Queen was to raise the Sun while the Dersian King had to bring the Night over the land, completing together the cycle. Unfortunately, one day, a conflict breaks out between the two parts of the country, caused by the murder of a prospitian leader by a dersian, leading to a brutal war that ends up with big losses on both ends. The alliance between the kingdom dies and with it, the cycle of day and night. Thus exist from now on two separate kingdoms, Prospit, the Land of Eternal Sun, and Derse, the Realm of Endless Night.
